Lobbyists Are Trying To Shield Health Insurers From Legal Responsibilities At Your Expense!

Posted on February 21, 2012 with 0 comments
Lobbyists for the insurance companies have written legislation for their spokespeople in Congress to defend them from accountability for their rates. The law now says that the health insurance companies must account for expenses (profits) exceeding 20% for administrative costs and CEO bonuses. Two new Congressional bills want to change that to increase insurer's profits and reduce rebates to the American people for overcharges.
Lobbyists, unfortunately, now write much of our legislation, and require support from the members of Congress that they support monetarily.
Sign on to fight for the right of Americans to see what they are paying for, and force insurance companies to comply with legal requirements.
